News: New members need to be approved before they can post. Sorry about this. We had a few spammers trying it on. It is a simple process - but pop a note in at 9 Lincoln Way giving me your email address. Or just email Dixon Jones saying who you are and where in the village you live and I will "hook you up".

Just wondered if everyone was aware that the Newsagent has applied for an off-license permit? The planning application has asked for linensing hours all day until 11:00 PM - which is longer than the existing off-license.

I can't see how those two businesses and two pubs can all survive under those circumstances - but I am even more worried that an off license open that late will not be a good plan in such a residential area where most of the population are underage or elderly.

If you would like to object, there is a parish council meeting on Monday (23rd?) and then Mid-beds discuss the application on the 3rd of December.
